At Inner Bloom Dispensary, we strive to provide efficient and reliable shipping services to ensure products arrive promptly. Below outlines our shipping policy.
About our customers and patient payments
Our products are supplied to qualified practitioners, who order for their own use or prepare prescriptions and formulas for their patients. In some cases, a practitioner prepares a prescription for a patient and sends that patient a payment link, through which the patient pays directly (a "patient payment"). The shipping arrangements for patient payments are set out under "Shipping Costs" below; in all other respects the dispatch, delivery, insurance, and tracking arrangements in this policy apply to patient payments in the same way as to practitioner orders.
Because patient payments are made in connection with a practitioner's care, the practitioner is the patient's point of contact. A patient with any question about their delivery should contact their practitioner, who will follow up with us where needed.
Order Processing and Dispatch
Same-Day Shipping or Pickup: All orders received and paid for in full by 11am AEST (Queensland) time Monday to Friday will be dispatched or available for pickup the same day. Otherwise they will be processed the following business day. This applies equally to practitioner orders and patient payments.
Shipping Carrier: We use Australia Post for our shipping services.
Shipping Conditions
While we make every effort to adhere to our same-day processing and shipping standard, please recognise that we are a small business. There may be times when circumstances beyond our control, such as illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen events, may prevent us from fulfilling orders on the same day.
In such cases, we commit to the following:
Notification: If an order cannot be processed and shipped on the same day, we will notify the practitioner as soon as possible.
Understanding: We appreciate your understanding and patience in these rare instances. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we will work to resolve any delays as quickly as possible.
Shipping Costs
Practitioner orders: We offer Standard and Express shipping through Australia Post. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of the order.
Patient payments: Patient payments include a fixed Express Post shipping charge of $15, which is included in the total presented to the patient at the payment link. Patient payments are always sent by Express Post; no separate shipping selection is required.
Delivery Times
Standard Delivery: Delivery times vary depending on location and the shipping option chosen. Australia Post typically delivers within 2–7 business days for standard shipping.
Express Delivery: For express shipping, delivery is usually within 1–3 business days, depending on location. We recommend Express Delivery for all orders outside Queensland. (Patient payments are sent by Express Post as standard — see "Shipping Costs".)
Insurance
All orders come with complimentary $100 cover against loss, theft, or damage in transit. This cover is provided and processed by Australia Post and is subject to their terms and conditions.
Extra cover for orders over $100 can be selected by the practitioner during checkout, in increments of $2 for each additional $100 of coverage. The practitioner is responsible for selecting an appropriate level of cover for an order, including for an order prepared for a patient.
Where extra cover has not been selected, our compensation for loss, theft, or damage in transit is limited to $100. This limit applies to transit events only and does not affect any rights in respect of a defective or incorrect product — please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Tracking Your Order
Once an order has been shipped, the practitioner will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number, which can be used to track the status of the shipment through Australia Post's website. For a patient payment, tracking details are provided to the prescribing practitioner, who is the patient's point of contact for delivery enquiries.
Shipping Restrictions
International Shipping: We are able to ship internationally on a case-by-case basis, at competitive rates. Please contact us for more information and a quote.
PO Boxes: We can ship to PO Boxes within Australia. However, express shipping may not be available to these addresses.
